Minutes

Chair Robert Norcross opened the meeting at 5pm

Present were selectboard members Dan Haskins and Colton Andrews, Town Administrator Carl McKinney, Tammy Daniels of iBerkshires and Peter Gentile of Northen Berkshire Community Television.

The pledge was recited

The door at Town Hall has been replaced from the wind damage.  The library roof and inside work still needs to be completed.  The contractor inquired about the siding at the back of the library.  He believes there is some rot in the siding.  Briggsville Water offered to donate siding to the school/ library. 

The board agreed that meeting times will be scheduled on the first and third Mondays of the month at 5pm.  When there is a holiday, they reschedule to a different day.

MVP finished getting information from the public for the past year.  The 2nd Tuesday of July the designer will meet with the MVP Committee.  They talked about boardwalks, increased parking and access to the Clarksburg Community Center. 

The DPW has received approximately 5-6 applications.  Kyle will sort through them next week and Carl will set up interviews the following week.

Rowe has agreed to take over the vendor part of the town shared services.  The Town will keep the insurance & payroll.  Kelly has received checks from 2 towns regarding the reimbursement. 

Jason was sick and Chief Williams is on vacation.  As soon as they have the computer set up the accountant can move downstairs. 

It will cost $395 to pump the septic at the Clarksburg Senior Center.  West Oil has been contacted to clean the furnaces. 

The board reviewed the rite to farm disclosure for anyone moving into town.  It will be given with the tax bills, posted on our website and the real estate association.  It is posted on our sign community sign.  Colton motioned to approve the disclosure Dan second, motion carried. 

Robert motioned to adjourn at 5:12pm

The board will meet 7/22/24 due to vacations.
