  3. Minutes: Approval of the January 8, 2026, NBSU Joint Committee meeting minutes
  4. North Berkshire School Union #43 Agreement: The committee will consider several options to update the shared expenses percentages in the current union agreement:
    • The subcommittee met on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 to consider and propose several options that will be shared with the full joint committee to develop more equitable policies for the distribution of the shared NBSU expenses during the 2026-2027 school and fiscal year.
    • The discussion and vote will focus on a one-year agreement to set the shared expenses percentages for 2026-2027. However, there will also be discussion about continuing with a subcommittee to further review these shared expense percentages, along with the entire union agreement, to make recommendations for permanent updates.
  5. North Berkshire Regional Study: The superintendent will provide an update on the first meeting of the North Berkshire Regionalization Study Committee that will be hiring a company to run the study for nine towns in the area, including Clarksburg, Florida, Monroe, and Savoy.  This committee will deliberate on and make recommendations upon the gathering informational data to present options for a potential reorganization among the North Berkshire School Union, the Hoosac Valley Regional School District, the Mount Greylock Regional School District, and the North Adams Public Schools, giving particular priority to improving the quality and variety of educational programming and services provided to our member communities at the secondary level (grades six through twelve).
  6. Business Administrator request: Discuss and vote on a request to carryover previous earned benefit time to the current employment contract.
  7. NBSU Joint Committee Contact List: An updated list will be provided for committee members to review and edit
  8. New Joint Committee Business: Any other items for discussion and review by the committee members not reasonably anticipated prior to the posting of this meeting.
