Clarksburg Residents: Share Your Input on the Northern Berkshire Educational Sustainability Study
Clarksburg Residents: Share Your Input on the Northern Berkshire Educational Sustainability Study
Clarksburg residents are encouraged to participate in the Northern Berkshire Educational Sustainability Study (NBESS) community survey. The survey is open through Friday, October 9, 2026.
The study brings together the Hoosac Valley Regional School District, Mount Greylock Regional School District, North Adams Public Schools, and the Northern Berkshire School Union (Clarksburg, Florida, and Savoy) to examine the operating and organizational structures of the districts, specifically for grades 6–12, and identify possible opportunities for collaboration.
No decisions have been made. This is the first phase of the study, and community input is an important part of understanding the perspectives and priorities of residents throughout Northern Berkshire County.
The survey takes approximately 7–10 minutes to complete and is available in English and Spanish. Residents will be asked about:
-
Strengths and challenges of our local school districts
-
How local schools compare regionally, statewide, and nationally
-
What residents would most want to protect in the years ahead
-
Future possibilities that may deserve further consideration
Responses are anonymous, and comments will not be attributed to individuals.
