  1. Call to order the regular monthly meeting of the Clarksburg School Committee:
  2. Open Meeting Rules/Public Comment: Clarification of the open meeting rules of participation
  3. Election of 2026-2027 Officers: Committee members will vote to determine the chair and vice chair for the FY 27 fiscal and school year.
  4. Announcements:
  5. Approval of Minutes: Suggested Motion: Move to approve the minutes from the Clarksburg School Committee Meetings dated June 10, and June 30, 2026.
  6. School Building Update: Review the updated plans, schedule, and work completed during the summer break using ADA grant funding and the stabilization account funding.
  7. Financial Statement: Suggested Motion: Move to approve the current financial statement for FY27.
  8. Financial Report: Discuss and review the end of the FY26 fiscal year and the effort to collaborate with the town financial officials to reconcile all accounts

    1. Continuing Business:
      1. North Berkshire Educational Sustainability Study (nbess.org): Superintendent Franzoni will provide an update on the collaborative efforts to advance an educational sustainability study in North Berkshire County involving nine towns and multiple school districts.  The name of the study is the North Berkshire Educational Sustainability Study, and more information can be accessed at the recently developed website for the study in partnership with BERK 12, the organization hired to lead this important work:  nbess.org
      2. School Choice: Review and discuss enrollment changes since the end of the school year in order to determine if any new school choice slots should be voted on and made available in the window prior to the start of the school year on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
  13. Start of the School Year Business: The committee will discuss any other school business that is required prior to the start of the new school year.
