1. Call to order the regular monthly meeting of the Clarksburg School Committee:
2. Open Meeting Rules/Public Comment: Clarification of the open meeting rules of participation

4. Approval of Minutes: Suggested Motion: Move to approve the minutes from the Clarksburg School Committee Meetings dated August 6, 2026.
5. School Building Update: Review the work completed at the school during the summer break in collaboration with the town to improve the building entrance, ventilation/heating/cooling systems, ADA compliance, upgrades to the underground wiring, and other areas of need (including discussion about the library shared space).
6. Financial Statement: Suggested Motion: Move to approve the current financial statement for FY27.
7. Financial Report: NBSU Business Administrator Jordan Rennell will review the effort to collaborate with the town financial officials to reconcile all accounts for the end of FY 26 and the start of FY 27, as well as work on town requests for previous fiscal years.

    1. Continuing Business:
       1. Homeschool Applications: Assistant Superintendent Barnes will provide an overview of all homeschool applications received by the school district in advance of the 2026-2027 school year.
       2. Tuition Agreement: Review the tuition agreement with Readsboro and discuss the final enrollment of their resident students for the 2026-2027 school year
       3. Contract request: Review a request by the teachers union to include a specialist position as part of their bargaining unit.
       4. Berkshire Educational Sustainability Study (nbess.org):  Superintendent Franzoni will provide an update on the collaborative efforts to advance an educational sustainability study in North Berkshire County for multiple towns and school districts, focusing primarily on grades 6-12, including the most recent meeting of the Steering Committee on August 26, 2026 (5 p.m. at Mt Greylock Regional High School).
